MIYU Academy

An independent cultural learning platform

MIYU Academy is an independent cultural learning platform that turns mythology and cultural heritage into interactive lessons. Olesia conceived, researched, wrote, designed, implemented and launched it herself — the platform, its learning activities and its entire visual world.

The thread

  1. 01 Raw material

Greek, Norse and Egyptian myths — stories most people only half remember from school.

  2. 02 What I built

An independent learning platform, made alone: courses told as illustrated chapters, with quick checks, feedback, a rune draw and creative challenges. Research, writing, visuals, code, launch and promotion.

In short

The first course went live on 13 September 2026. In the six weeks that followed, the platform grew to three mythology worlds, and became the home of the Ossetian heritage stories and of Nartamonga — all produced independently.

MIYU stands for “Make it youseful”. The spelling is deliberate.

The product

The real interface.

Learning that reads like a well-set book and plays like a small game.

01

Finish a course

Recorded on a phone: the last chapter of the Norse course, the rune draw (“Raidho — the road, the journey”) and the course-complete screen.

02

Editorial chapters

Numbered chapters, drop caps, captioned illustrations. Chapter 4 of the Norse course: “Odin and Fenrir. Wisdom Against Teeth.”

03

Rune draw

A closing ritual for the Norse course. Draw a rune, learn its meaning — and a line of humour: “The weather forecast was written by Loki.”

04

Moving illustrations

Short animated scenes bring key moments to life, built for the vertical screen.

Tools & workflow

AI is used as an instrument, not a co-author. Olesia writes the stories, designs the learning, directs each image and scene, then selects, edits and integrates the results.
